In 1960, near Ortisei, stood a simple wooden hut amidst the quiet Dolomites. It was not yet a restaurant nor a place for guests.
It was a retreat where my father and his family could escape the hustle and bustle of the village.
In 2009, they opened a small restaurant right at the spot where my father's family once gathered.
Season after season, our little hut transformed. What started with five tables grew slowly, not through grand plans, but step by step.
Just a 15-minute walk from the center of St. Ulrich – a scenic walk through the forest leads directly to us., and the hut is located right on the ski slope.

Our wine list contains carefully selected South Tyrolean wines, which perfectly accompany our regional dishes with their unmistakable character.
Our warm kitchen is open until 4:00 PM, cold dishes & sweets until 5:30 PM.

Every day we end the evening with joy and a good atmosphere. Our hut is located just a few minutes from the center of Ortisei – ideal for all skiers who want to stop by for a cozy break after an eventful day.
